I’ve been a patient at the Allergy & Asthma Specialists of KC since 2013. I’ve had no complaints since being a patient there; however, Dr. Khalid has most certainly ramped things up. Having my first appointment with Dr. Khalid, I was not rushed, my questions were answered thoroughly and Dr. Khalid explained everything to me in a way I could understand. Dr. Khalid is extraordinarily thorough and really seems to care about my health.

I find Dr. Khalid and his staff extremely patient focused. The staff there is highly professional and accommodating. I walked in and was able to see Dr. Khalid very quickly. The staff is also very caring and friendly. It is very gratifying to experience such great care by a medical team who understands what you’re going through and goes above and beyond to help you get over feeling anxious about my health status.

I’m an allergy patient of Dr. Khalid that couldn’t recommend him more! Three months ago I had an illness (that was misdiagnosed) & Dr. Khalid was kind enough to see me (for my General Practitioner was at a conference). He quickly ascertained my symptoms were serious (and, if left untreated, could lead to blindness or thrombosis).
Dr. Khalid personally called my GP’s “sub” & asked that she see me on an emergency basis. Both doctor’s quick thinking & help led me to a biopsy (which was positive) but, more importantly, to the cure (to be put on a strong steroid).
Obviously, Dr. Khalid’s medical knowledge and professionalism were so evident, and I totally praise & recommend him!

To whom it may concern, My son began seeing Dr. Khalid in 2018 for his lifelong, severe allergies, both topical and airborne, and asthma. It should be noted that my son, Brad, is an adult, mentally disabled man, aged 32.
Dr. Khalid has been very kind and patient with my son. He has been diligent in his care for Brad and in seeking the best treatment specific to Brad’s needs. He listens closely to what I have to say and answers my questions, and gives clear, concise explanations and instructions at all our appointments.
He has aided tremendously in all the extra paperwork and doctor’s notes needed for the care facility my son lives in. Brad received Xolair injections every other week, and often would see Dr. Khalid in the hallway as he was passing between patients. Dr Khalid always took the time to stop and speak to Brand and to come to the waiting room to find me to ask how he is doing.
He directed us to a treatment plan that has done wonders for Brad’s allergies, for the first time in his life. He is very concise with his plans and the direction he is wanting to go, and diligent in the follow up of those plans.
It is rare now days to find a doctor so willing to take the time and effort to discover what his patient really needs and the best way to treat that need, and to listen to a stressed-out mom with all her questions. He has been very gracious and patient with me. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
